Glastonbury
Tor
The
dramatic and evocative Tor dominates the Somerset Levels and offers spectacular
views over Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. At the summit of this very steep
hill an excavation has revealed the plans of two superimposed churches of St
Michael, of which only the 15th century tower remains.
The
Tor is 158m high; entrance to field is wheelchair friendly with poor access to
main features of site.
